A Christmas Eve party turned into carnage after a woman opened fire inside a Roswell apartment, killing her partner and badly injuring three others, according to authorities.
Lashanda Allison was a single mother who worked multiple jobs to support her family and enjoyed assisting others.
Now it’s her family who needs assistance.
Allison, her two daughters, and her daughter-in-law were shot at the Manchester at Mansell Apartments in Roswell at 4:30 p.m., according to police. on the evening of Christmas Eve Allison’s partner, Stephanie Agee was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Allison was like a mother to Makayla Ridley, Allison’s daughter-in-law. She recounted her final moments with Allison, who was dying on her kitchen floor.
“She couldn’t breathe, and I was just saying, ‘Mommy!’” Ridley said. “She said, ‘Yes?’ And I was like, ‘Stay with me. Breathe.’”
Allison was allegedly arguing with her partner, Stephanie Agee, while preparing Christmas Eve supper with her family, according to Ridley. Things became tense, and Ridley claimed Agee exploded.
“I have seen her cop the gun, and she went over there and just start shooting with a straight face,” Ridley said.
Agee shot Allison, then her and Allison’s two daughters, according to Ridley. Ridley is currently healing from a chest gunshot wound.
Erin, Allion’s daughter, was shot in the back and rushed outside to call for assistance.
“Stephanie came back,” Ridley said. “I was hiding behind the couch. She came back and she shot me again.”
Ryan Pickett, Allison’s other daughter, claimed she witnessed her door open and Agee enters into her room and shoots her as well.
Agee was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder. She’s also facing charges in connection with the other incidents. Pickett stated that her mother’s family is seeking justice.
“We want the death penalty,” Pickett said. “I want her to feel the same way my mom did.”
