Chris Rock’s Brother Tony Rock Speaks Out After 2022 Oscars Slap, Knocking Will Smith’s Apology

Chris Rock’s brother Tony Rock speaks out about Will Smith’s headline-making slap at the 94th annual Academy Awards Sunday night.

On Tuesday, Tony, 47, defended his older brother on Twitter, saying he disapproves of Smith’s public apology before noting that Chris is “fine” after the incident.

At the Oscars, Smith, 53, walked onto the stage and hit Chris, 57, following a joke made by the comedian about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. The actress, 50, has alopecia.

Tony told Twitter followers on Tuesday that he’s “waiting” for Smith to speak directly to his brother and family after a fan pointed out Smith’s relationship with the comedian over the years.
