This year, Terrell Burgess is celebrating Mother’s Day early.
The Rams’ free safety surprised his mother Ingrid Hennie-Burgess with a brand-new SUV, according to TMZ, and the emotions were running high. “Is this why you’re so late today?” the 23-year-old questioned Burgess as he pulled up to his mother with the amazing gift, and when she learned the car was hers, she adorably asked Burgess.
Before walking up to the Chevy SUV, they had a lovely embrace.
“Are you serious?” Burgess’ mother asked, tears in her eyes as she moved toward the silver automobile. “Oh my goodness.”
Burgess tells his mother about the automobile he bought for her: “It had 19 miles on it, but we drove all the way over here, so it kinda bumped up a little bit.”
When Hennie-Burgess had a closer look at the automobile, tears started to pour.
As they approached the whip, Burgess stated, “That’s yours.” “I appreciate, thank, and love you.” “That’s yours.”
The video concludes with the alum of the University of Utah jokingly telling Hennie-Burgess that the present will last for numerous holidays.
“Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, and Happy Mothers Day for the next 8 years,” he said as onlookers laughed.
Burgess was a third-round pick in the 2020 draft, but an injury terminated his 2021 season, according to Fox 22.
