The new Disney Toy Story prequel Lightyear, a sci-fi interplanetary adventure focusing on the origins of Buzz Lightyear, will feature Keke Palmer.
According to the Disney film’s synopsis, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Efren Ramirez, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. will also join the cast.
“Every hero has a beginning,” Keke wrote on Twitter and Instagram, revealing her involvement in the new project and her delight. “I am thrilled to go on an intergalactic adventure in Disney / Pixar’s #Lightyear!!!! I have always loved Buzz, I’m so excited I get to share the screen with him. Coming June 17, 2022.”
Aduba followed suit and shared a snippet of herself and Lightyear in the film.
Palmer’s ability to stay booked, occupied, and blessed, on the other hand, was marvelled at on Twitter.

Along with Daniel Kaluuya, Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, Brandon Perea, and Michael Wincott, Palmer will star in Jordan Peele’s highly anticipated film Nope.
Following his movie office smashing Us and Get Out, Peele created and directed his upcoming horror film, according to Deadline. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Palmer will also appear in the feature film Alice, which premiered at Sundance this year and will be released in theaters on March 18.
